Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA, seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse Fellow for the Women’s Surgical Specialty Unit. This full-time role offers 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

shifts, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. The RN Fellow supports high‑quality women's health and maternity services, joining a nationally recognized healthcare leader. Requires 1 year of RN experience in critical care or completion of a CC fellowship, BSN, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BSN from an accredited nursing program; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at start.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and follow plans of care under supervision of an experienced RN.
• Organize and deliver care using the Nursing Practice Model to achieve outcomes.
• Document care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and ongoing learning sessions.
• May serve as a preceptor after orientation and competency completion.
