Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuro Medicine/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit to provide direct patient care on a 34-bed floor. The role includes night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., weekend commitments, and a sign-on bonus of $15,000 for eligible candidates.

Ideal candidates hold a Nursing Diploma/Associate's with RN licensure, and prefer Bachelor’s degree with <2 years experience. The unit emphasizes critical thinking, patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and education on post treatment care and medications.
• Ensures communication of the plan of care across the care continuum.

Responsibilities
