Job summary

Indiana University Health North Hospital is seeking an RN to join the Adult Med/Surg unit. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, perform assessments, manage IVs and drips, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role offers night shifts with full-time or part-time options and opportunities to serve as a unit preceptor or charge nurse, while supporting Magnet-designated care standards and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS or other advanced life support may be required per unit policies.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on the Adult Med/Surg unit.
• Perform physical assessment and monitor patient status.
• Manage IVs, catheters, drips and central lines.
• Collaborate with care team and participate in unit improvements; potential to be preceptor or charge nurse.
