Job summary

The Registered Nurse works in the Emergency Department at Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD, delivering excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team utilizing evidence-based medicine and the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board or Compact State.
• BLS certification (AHA); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process and educate patients and families.
• Effectively communicates patient information to the health care team.
