Job summary

Valley Hope of Boonville is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Detox/Mental Health unit on the night shift (6:30pm–7:00am). The nurse will deliver compassionate medical care during 30–45 day treatment, from admission through discharge, within a mission-driven, team-focused facility just outside of Columbia off I-70.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, MO RN licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the state of employment.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.
• Conducts detox admissions and provides patient care during the detoxification process.
• Follows policies for medical emergencies (e.g., convulsions, suicides, delirium tremens).
• Maintains a safe, sanitary environment with infection control and universal precautions.
• Oversees non-licensed staff as directed by the Nursing Director.
