Job summary

Amatus Health in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift at the Baltimore Detox Center. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Charge Nurses, you will oversee nursing care, assessments, and medication administration.

The ideal candidate has an Associates in Nursing, 1+ year detox or treatment facility experience, active RN license, CPR certification, and experience with ASAM criteria and electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing degree or higher.
• State RN license in good standing.
• 1+ years RN experience in detox or similar treatment facility.
• CPR certification current.
• Experience with ASAM criteria preferred.
• Familiarity with JCAHO Standards of Care for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed by the medical team.
• Conducts nursing assessments at intake and during shifts.
• Educates patients about their condition and reports to physicians.
• Reconciles medications at shift end and maintains records.
• Responds promptly to emergencies with appropriate actions.
