Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift (7-7). The role supports inpatient post-ICU patients in a critical illness recovery setting with a competitive hourly rate and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will provide assessments, documentation, and care coordination while advancing clinical skills through the hospital's ladder and education programs. Qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS at hire, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Admissions and transfers to units
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Timely documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret labs and telemetry data
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately
• Respond to Rapid Response and code events
• Counsel patients and families
• Perform other duties as assigned
