Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital, part of Select Medical, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Long Term Acute Care at the McKeesport site (inside UPMC McKeesport). Schedule is 7pm-7am, night shift with no rotating shifts.

Compensation ranges from $40.70 to $54.75 per hour, with night/weekend differentials; a $15,000 sign-on bonus and free parking are offered. Join a large network focused on post-ICU recovery and career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document accurately using required systems.
• Interpret labs and telemetry data.
• Transcribe and process medical orders correctly.
• Respond to rapid responses and codes.
• Counsel patients and families.
