Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Wakulla Correctional Institution Annex in Crawfordville, FL. The RN (Medical) will assess patients, administer medications, educate patients, document care, and coordinate with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure quality healthcare while incarcerated.

Available shift is Nights, 7PM-7:30AM with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Conduct health assessments and administer medications and treatments.
• Provide patient education and document care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and act with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff.
• Lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
