The RN will provide patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and deliver nursing care during the night shift in this specialized setting. Discovery Institute is a 120-bed inpatient substance abuse treatment facility providing exceptional services for individuals with substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant field.
• Proven experience as an RN, preferably in a behavioral health or substance abuse treatment facility.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and record signs during the night shift.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and adjust patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on substance abuse treatment and recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow facility policies and procedures related to patient care and confidentiality.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during the night hours.
