Job summary

Port Washington Post Acute in Bremerton, WA, is seeking compassionate Night Shift Registered Nurses to coordinate and provide overnight resident care, supervise CNAs and LPNs, and ensure that care is delivered safely and in accordance with regulations and facility standards.

You will document conditions, communicate changes to on‑call physicians and families, develop and update care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and participate in shift handoffs to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN accepted).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate overnight nursing care for residents, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Monitor and document residents' conditions and communicate changes promptly to on-call physicians and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update care plans.
• Supervise and support night shift CNAs and LPNs, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
• Give and receive clear shift-change reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control protocols, and facility policies.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and appropriately to ensure resident safety.
