Care Initiatives is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts (6pm–6am) across our skilled nursing communities in Iowa. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure resident safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing and Iowa license activation ability.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Strong commitment to empathetic, respectful, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor residents and respond to changes in status promptly.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families about care needs.
