Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking an RN Clinical Charge Nurse to direct the unit on the night shift, ensuring safe and efficient patient care. This role involves staff scheduling, patient flow management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure with ACLS and BLS, has 1–2 years of nursing experience, and demonstrates strong leadership and clinical expertise to support high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Required licenses include ACLS, BLS, RN or RN-Compact (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on an assigned shift to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Develop staff schedules and manage unit patient flow.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and leadership to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Ensure age-appropriate, culturally aware patient care and patient safety.
