Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment inventory and utilization to ensure staff have tools and equipment needed to perform their job.
• Proactively plans for staffing during unexpected staffing shortages or census surges.
• Rounds with physicians/surgeons to coordinate care and bed flow.
• Assigns surgery beds in conjunction with the surgery schedule and supports bed availability decisions.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration, coordinating care with other departments and leaders.
