Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nights team. You will plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care under supervision of the Director, providing direct and indirect patient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, ACLS within 6 months, CPR/BLS, and Basic EKG. Minimum experience 0–6 months. We offer a supportive environment with growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse license in Florida is required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment/transfer is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Completion of Basic EKG Course is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data and provides teaching to patient and family.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients and documents patient activities and assessments.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and teaching.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.

Education

Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida

ACLS within 6 months of employment/transfer

CPR certification (Basic Life Support)

Completion of Basic EKG Course
