Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or school of nursing.
• Current Ohio nursing license to practice.
• BSN preferred by the employer.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required or completed within 12 months of hire.
• NRP required prior to orientation for FBC nurses.
• PALS certification within 12 months for ED/OR/PACU/SDS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care on the unit.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Perform general nursing duties and complete thorough patient assessments.
• Be willing to float to other areas as assigned and work weekends/holidays.
• Adhere to service excellence standards and maintain current licensure and certifications.
