Job summary

UCHealth Birth Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an RN for a full-time night-shift role in the Birth Center. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes.

The position emphasizes wellness, evidence-based practice, and precepting new staff in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment. Onsite role with comprehensive UCHealth benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and in good standing.
• 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• ACLS and NRP within 6 months. C-EFM within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required; card valid through start date and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective and evidence-based practice.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
