Job summary

Summit Healthcare Mgmt in Statesboro, Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7pm-7:30am) with every-other-weekend work. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for clients on the unit, supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.

The role requires an RN license, CPR certification, and experience in behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an approved program.
• One+ year of nursing experience in clinical/behavioral health settings preferred.
• Experience with psychotropic meds and safe administration practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and behavioral health needs and develop care plans.
• Coordinate care with RN/LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Administer medications accurately and document administration.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and meds.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate medical records.
• Provide thorough hand-off reports to oncoming staff.
