Job summary

Summit Healthcare Mgmt in Statesboro, GA is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm-7:30am). The role includes supervising care for clients, coordinating with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, and developing individualized care plans.

You will assess and reassess patients, document accurately, administer medications, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate nursing care; develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate clients and families on health conditions.
• Assess clients' status and communicate findings to providers in a timely manner.
• Administer medications safely with two identifiers.
• Document and monitor PRN medication effects.
• Ensure narcotics handling and medication security.
• Complete admission and discharge processes accurately.
• Coordinate with the treatment team on client care.
