Job summary

Oakwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health on the night shift (7p–7a) in Oklahoma City, OK.

The role focuses on delivering compassionate care, leading the team during shifts, and applying a detailed plan of care while adhering to hospital policies. Requires an RN license, an Associate degree, CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Delegate tasks and supervise groups to ensure care quality.
• Monitor patient status and notify physician as needed.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Demonstrate empathy, dignity, and respect in patient interactions.
• Deliver nursing care to ensure treatment goals are met.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
