Job summary

Cox Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cox North location in Springfield, MO. This night shift role (36 hours weekly) involves caring for patients in the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry department, administering medications, and monitoring patient status.

The nurse will educate families and maintain accurate records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Graduate education in nursing with Missouri RN licensure is required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: RN license active in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and administer medications.
• Change dressings and monitor vital signs.
• Keep accurate patient records and provide education to patients and families.
