Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum one year of experience in a clinical or observational capacity.
• Clear and active nursing license in the state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions, clinical intake assessments, and utilization review.
• Review medical documentation and obtain admission orders from physicians.
• Perform pre-authorization for treatment and admission prior to admission when possible.
• Monitor patient status during admissions and ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate care and communicate dispositions to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for payor level of care.
