Job summary

RCA – Recovery Centers of America Management Company in Danvers, MA is seeking a Temp Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6-month assignment in addiction medicine. Night shift 7PM–7:30AM, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend or every weekend, and a completion bonus of $3,000.

Qualified candidates hold a MA RN license (or can obtain one) and have 1+ year in behavioral health or 2+ years RN experience. Note: temp nurses do not receive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain licensure.
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health/addiction medicine OR 2+ years general RN experience.
• Ability to read/write clearly; grammar-conscious editing.
• Strong spoken communication; ability to participate in meetings and present in groups.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews to gather case history.
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
• Make nursing diagnoses and propose treatment options.
• Consult with medical and behavioral health staff to design treatment plans.
• Administer psychotropic and other medications and monitor reactions.
• Arrange further medical attention when necessary.
