Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Peoria, AZ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for local contracts at an acute rehab facility. Night shifts 6p-6:30a. You will ensure resident care in a clean, safe environment and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to develop care plans.

Responsibilities include making nursing diagnoses, recording medication administration, supervising staff for safety, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience, preferably in acute rehabilitation.
• Familiar with electronic charting systems.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Finger Print Card clearance, TB test within 1 year, and a recent physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
