Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care for assigned patients, including assessment, planning of care, patient education and evaluation. Requires current California RN license, BLS, continuing education, and prior acute care experience. Night shifts with a shift differential and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education.
• Current Basic Life Support Card.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients.
