Job summary

Poplar Springs is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). You will provide compassionate patient care, support recovery, and help foster a safe, healing environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, coordinating with physicians, administering medications, maintaining hygiene, and mentoring LPNs and Mental Health Technicians while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in psychiatry or acute care.
• BS or nursing diploma required.
• Strong knowledge of emergency care and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver high-quality care.
• Observe and interpret symptoms, reporting clearly to physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to create individualized care plans.
• Perform routine nursing procedures (vital signs, injections, charting).
• Administer and adjust medications and treatments according to orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by sanitizing equipment and hygiene.
• Provide immediate, effective care during emergencies.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and Mental Health Technicians.
• Offer compassionate support to patients and families.
• Expand skills through ongoing workshops and professional development.
