Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Center for Advanced Joint Replacement at Wilmington Hospital. The role focuses on care for post-operative orthopedic patients, including total knee/hip replacements, bariatric procedures, and select ENT/plastic surgeries, with emphasis on patient mobility and recovery.

The overnight shift (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) includes weekend/holiday rotations and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• BSN preferred; must obtain within three years of hire per organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and post-discharge care.
