Acadia Healthcare in Peachtree Corners, GA, seeks experienced Registered Nurses for TEMP NIGHTS on a 13-week assignment at a fixed rate of $55 per hour. This is a full-time temporary role not eligible for benefits, with rotating weekends and 3x12 hour shifts.

Candidates must have at least one year of behavioral health experience and an active RN license. Highlights include mandatory night shifts, direct temporary employment (not agency) and potential conversion to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required per state or facility.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Provide nursing care within nursing practice standards and facility policies.
• Ensure orders are legible and transcribed accurately.
• Assess patient status continuously and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff and patients.
