Job summary

LCMC Health in Louisiana is seeking an RN for a 13-week limited assignment in the Emergency Department on nights. The role requires current Louisiana RN licensure and active BLS, ACLS, CPI and PALS certifications, with TNCC and ENPC as noted. New grads must obtain PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS, CPI and PALS certifications. (New grad must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Current TNCC (CHNOLA and UMC ERs only)
• ENPC (can be substitute for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs)
• Emergency Room experience and ER nursing knowledge (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care based on standards of care and LCMC Health policies.
• Delegate to professional and non-professional personnel involved in the delivery of care.
