Responsibilities

• The Shift Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Trains, develops, coaches, and evaluates employee performance; ensures systems for training employees are followed.
• Identifies and develops internal candidates for Shift Manager positions.
• Complies with all state and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance.
• Reviews practices and modifies as needed to improve the guest experience; responds to questions and complaints.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance and service.
• Partners with the restaurant manager to analyze operational and financial performance.
• Focuses on long-term sales growth initiatives to drive profitability.
• Monitors costs and adherence to budget and goals.
• The Shift Manager will help to support the company by maintaining an outstanding work environment through leadership, direction, training, and development.
