Job summary

A leading children's hospital in Akron is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist Level Transport to provide care for premature and pediatric patients. This role involves assessing and addressing the respiratory needs of critically ill patients. The ideal candidate should have more than 3 years of experience in neonatal critical care and hold relevant licenses and certifications. This full-time position operates on-site during night shifts and offers exciting challenges in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Greater than 3 years of neonatal/pediatric critical care experience is required.
• Health Care Provider required; EMT-B credential is preferred.
• Current pediatric specialty credential (e.g. NPS, CNPT or A-EC) is required within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and directs care for patients.
• Provides respiratory interventions based on patient needs.
• Participates in the education of staff and precepts students.

Skills

Experience in respiratory care

Experience working with all levels within an organization

Proficiency in MS Office

Proficiency in electronic health record software

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Care

Current OH Respiratory Care Professional license

Registered Respiratory Therapist credential

PALS, ACLS, NRP & STABLE certification
