Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care and collaborate with physicians and nursing teams. The role requires an active RCP license and NBRC RRT credential; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC RRT credential; PALS if ER.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience: none required; critical care preferred.
• Physical demands include up to 50 lbs push/pull/grip, up to 10 lbs pinch; ability to kneel, crouch and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy and serve as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision.
