Job summary

You will provide respiratory care across diverse clinical settings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patients, delivering prescribed therapies, acting as a resource to colleagues, and ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• RRT credential required or Registry Eligible through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the State of Georgia required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP certification required for therapists working in the NICU.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services and therapeutic interventions for patients of varying ages and acuity levels.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient respiratory status and response to treatment.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and support clinical care plans.
• Serve as a respiratory care resource for colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care consistent with organizational standards and values.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
