Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry-eligible as recognized by NBRC.
• 6 hours of ongoing education per year per AARC.
• Prefer one year of experience in respiratory care including critical care.
• Some computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function testing including spirometry and DLCO.
• Adjust care based on patient age, culture, and needs.
• Provide therapy modalities and adjust care accordingly.
• Document patient condition and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Screen patients and collect pertinent information during visits.
• Maintain exam rooms and work environment.
• Adhere to 5x5 commitments in all duties.
