Job summary

Select Medical in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem / PRN night shifts. The role offers $41.00 per hour with the potential for part-time or per diem scheduling and an orientation to support transition into our post-ICU setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, and educating families. Requires NBRC credential, BLS, state licensure, and ACLS on hire; 401k eligibility and flexible per diem options are available.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• Graduation transcript/diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be current at start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
