Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem night shifts across multiple Illinois hospitals (Arlington Heights, Evanston, Naperville, Elmhurst, Northbrook, Highland Park, Skokie and Chicago). The role covers all adult age groups and requires maintaining advanced respiratory care equipment and records.

You will report to the Manager of Respiratory Care and participate in continuing education while ensuring patient safety, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with nurses

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory therapy and eligible to take NBRC exams.
• Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary diagnostics.
• Assess and treat patients from neonatal to geriatric levels.
• Educate patients and families about plans of care and home instructions.
