Job summary

Twilight Gardens in Norwalk, Ohio is seeking casual Part-Time Respiratory Therapists (RTs) to join our Night Shift team. We offer FREE CEUs, Great Place to Work Certified, premium wages and an excellent benefits package.

Must be available 1 day/week, every 3rd Weekend and Every 3rd Holiday. Responsibilities include setting up and operating ventilation devices, monitoring patients, assisting with breathing exercises, maintaining charts, and ensuring equipment safety.

Qualifications

• One to three months' related experience and/or training.
• The completion of an approved school for respiratory therapy.
• Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators.
• Operates equipment to ensure specified parameters of treatment and administers medicinal gases and aerosol drugs under physician orders.
• Monitors patient vital signs and responses to therapy.
• Assists patient in performing breathing exercises.
• Maintains and tests respiratory therapy equipment for safe operation.
• Maintains patient charts with therapy information.
• Demonstrates respiratory care procedures to trainees and staff.
