Ideal candidates will have an NBRC-registered RRT license in New York, an accredited Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/NRP/ CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoARC accredited program in respiratory care with an Associate's Degree required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC required and licensed by NYS.
• Maintains knowledge through mandated continuing education and annual competency.

Responsabilités

• Exercise clinical judgement in respiratory care under physician supervision.
• Assume primary clinical responsibility for respiratory care modalities in the designated area.
• Supervise students enrolled in respiratory care programs during clinical activities.
