Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing. You will follow physician orders and protocols to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include Texas RCP licensure, BLS, NBRC registration, and within-1-year ACLS/NRP/PALS where applicable, plus at least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the state of Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Advanced Cardio Life Support, NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support where applicable certification - must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• If Certified, must be Registry eligible and obtain Registered status within 6 months of hire
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience
