Qualifications

• Requires AS in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences and Alabama license.
• Must be eligible for NBRC RRT exam per NBRC guidelines.
• Basic computer/ mechanical training required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and equipment.
• Maintains accurate documentation.
• Performs quality control and ABG analysis.
• Communicates with healthcare team.
• Provides care for patients on respiratory units.
• Instructs practicum students.
