Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Night Shift at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL.

You’ll assess respiratory needs, implement advanced therapies, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families; you’ll respond to emergency codes and collaborate with care teams.

Active Florida RT licensure and BLS are required; ACLS, PALS, and neonatal resuscitation skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Respiratory Therapist licensure required prior to hire date.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred; Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
• PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory needs and develop care plans.
• Implement advanced respiratory therapies and monitor equipment.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and programs.
• Respond to emergency resuscitation codes and communicate changes.
