Responsibilities

• Operate physician-prescribed ventilatory treatments (invasive and non-invasive).
• Administer medications and provide humidification, ventilation, and oxygenation.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods.
• Conduct oximetry and capnography monitoring per policy.
• Review chest X-rays and perform pulmonary function studies.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and chest tube placement as needed.
• Record patient responses to treatments for handoffs.
• Ensure compliance with lab/testing policies and equipment.
