Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank, is hiring a Respiratory Therapist. Night shift at 0.9 FTE includes weekend rotations and night/differential pay.

The RT will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services, following department protocols for neonatal to geriatric patients. The role emphasizes collaboration within the Respiratory Therapy team and with physicians to ensure quality patient care while operating all respiratory care

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field required.
• Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC. New graduates must complete RRT within 6 months of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient needs and identify expected outcomes.
• Implement Respiratory interventions based on plan of care.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Deliver care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Operate and maintain Respiratory Care equipment.
