Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a part-time Respiratory Equipment Technician for night shift at Cedar Crest to support inventory, cleaning, sterilizing and replenishing equipment.

You will monitor and test respiratory equipment, coordinate with respiratory therapists, and ensure safe handling and storage of devices and gas cylinders. Attention to infection control and basic computer use are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to interact with healthcare professionals and public.
• Respect infection control guidelines related to cleaning clinical equipment.
• Able to perform detailed checks and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pickup/collection of soiled equipment to cleaning area.
• Turnover and set up equipment, clean patient care devices, and run self-diagnostic tests.
• Inspect and verify equipment is in good working condition and ensure availability.
• Redistribute cleaned devices and manage storage locations to maintain par levels.
• Manage medical gas cylinders and monitor inventory and rentals.
