Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a night-shift Respiratory Therapist Leader to oversee daily care delivery, mentor staff, and ensure safety and quality across critical care areas.

The role requires strong clinical expertise, teamwork, and capability to manage shift workload and equipment resources. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support teams to optimize patient outcomes, participate in PI initiatives, and lead continuous process improvements in a dynamic hospital

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Current certifications: BLS; ACLS; PALS; NRP where applicable.
• NBRC-RRT credential preferred/required by some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees daily shift activities to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Facilitates onboarding and precepting for new staff under leadership guidance.
• Maintains equipment, supports PI initiatives, and analyzes data for quality improvement.
