Job summary

Root Center for Advanced Recovery is hiring a Residential Technician for the New Britain, CT area. The role involves daily living assistance, basic medical care, and administrative duties as part of the patient care team.

The position operates on a second shift from 11:00pm to 8:00am, with a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $28.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent with CNA/EMT or MA certification required.
• Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents; accurately performs and documents vital signs.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal pickup/set up, medication monitoring and hygiene.
• Monitor and supervise residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
• Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to promote engagement and socialization.
• Document resident activities, behaviors and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
