Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent with CNA, EMT or MA certification required; Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• CPR/AED or BLS certification must be obtained and maintained within the initial 6 months of employment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe/clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents; accurately perform and document vital signs.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal pickup, medication monitoring, and hygiene.
• Monitor and supervise residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
• Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, promoting engagement and socialization.
• Address crisis situations and provide emotional support to residents in need.
• Document resident activities, behaviors, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
• Transports patients safely in agency vehicle as needed.
