Job summary

The Waters of Gainesboro is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide to provide daily support to our residents in an assisted living community. You will help with daily living activities, ensuring safety, dignity, and quality of life in a warm, homelike environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
