Job summary

Shaw Industries in Ringgold, GA seeks a Regrind Operator for the 12‑hour night shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM). You will support the Regrind/Lamination department by handling raw materials, WIP and regrind material, and by operating and troubleshooting shredder, granulator and grinder equipment.

This role requires safe lift truck operation, basic reading and writing for shipping documents, strong teamwork with Process Coordinators and Production Leads, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must safely operate a lift truck (loaded/unloaded).
• Must safely operate battery changing station equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot Shredder equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot Granulator (continuous line) and Grinder equipment.
• Move WIP to proper bin and track data.
• Perform PIT safety checks and maintain batteries.
• Assist production staff and leads as needed.
• Perform quality checks and reports on materials.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Feed and troubleshoot silos and bag house equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of roll unwind and other equipment.
• Work 12-hour shift with overtime as required.
