Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis – Respiratory is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional to provide direct patient care across respiratory services, following physician orders and therapy plans. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for nursing staff on respiratory care.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and shift differential. This on-site role is based at Mercy Hospital St.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential from NBRC; PALS required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
